Colleges and universities are prime locations for commercial gamete donor recruitment, and today’s students are tomorrow’s future industry professionals and providers. USDCC recognizes this, which led to our College Campus Initiative. Through this program, you can invite USDCC volunteers to speak at your school.
Dylan Stone-Miller (a former sperm donor turned nonprofit founder) and Kelly Best (a donor conceived person and molecular genetics technologist) are available to meet virtually with your class or student group via Zoom, or in person if feasible.
Together, Dylan and Kelly share a presentation demonstrating the ethical, social, and emotional implications of donor conception. The focus can be tailored specifically to bioethics, law, science, or a combination, and the length of the presentation is customizable to the time you or your school can allot. Dylan and Kelly are no strangers to the classroom, both having years of prior experience in education.
Dylan is the director of sperm donor resources for USDCC and the founder of DCPData. Kelly is the director of social media for USDCC. The duo have presented at Johns Hopkins University and at Stanford Law School.
